Large analog gauges  on this generator make it is easy to check on the engine and alternator status. Everything is visible with the panel door open or closed. In addition to the large analogue gagues, the engine controller displays results in the LCD window. Owners of this generator can easily monitor generator voltage, frequency and amperage. Engine parameters including ROM, oil pressure, water temperature and fuel levels also also shown.

This diesel generator is built to last. Stainless steel hinges, fasteners and a solid steel welded enclosure is used. The heavy-duty enclosure reduces stray engine noise helping the generator run quieter.

Generator Controller

This generator uses Deep Sea model DSE3110 generator control module. This diesel generator controller can be used for Manual or Automatic Starting. The DSE3110 is also providing advanced engine monitoring and protection features. Multiple engine parameters are monitored simultaneously. The controller will also display warnings and shutdown status. Timers and alarms are configurable by the end user though the front panel, or by using DSE software. The DSE3110 can be configured to suite individual applications. There is no initial setup required.

This three cylinder, tractor engine driven generators  designed to last over 10,000 operating hours.  With proper care, the live expectancy can be extend indefinitely. The engines design's  based on Isuzu technology and made by Laidong. The engine model number is KM385. The KM385 engine is often used in Jinma farm tractors and other heavy machinery. It is a slow turning, 1800 rpm, liquid cooled, direct-injection engine that can produce up to 17 kw of power.  This diesel engine is a perfect match for the Aurora 10 kw generator. Having sufficient reserve power, makes handling  sudden and heavy load changes easy.  Jinma was one of the first companies to provide EPA tier 4 approved engines for North America.  Because of the popularity of this engine in farm tractors, heavy machinery and small home-generators, parts are readily available through Aurora Generators and most Jinma farm tractor dealers.

Remove the end cover from this generator and you can see the over sized muffler that is used. The large muffler helps reduce noise levels.

Aurora uses self-excited, single bearing, automatic voltage controlled generators. They are UL compliant, class H insulated and CSA - Canada/USA approved.   Because the generator uses no brushes, it is maintenance free.  The automatic voltage regulator is adjustable. It can be set at 50 or 60 Hz. and will regulate output voltage to +- 1% of set value.
