Perkins Standby Generators
Aurora Perkins Generators are available from 9 kVA to 300 kVA in size. Single or Three phase version are available Perkins Generators include enclosures, belly fuel tanks, automatic voltage regulators and built in Automatic Transfer Switches.
Whole Home Generators
The perfect, whole home generator requires no complicated gas hookup or complete electrical panel rewiring. Generators like this work independently and are self contained. Built in fuel tanks, transfer switches and control systems make it easy to install and maintain. Modern diesel engines used today, produce more power, make little noise, and have no visible smoke. People are quickly abandoning the air cooled, fast turning natural gas or propane engines of the past and switching to longer lasting environmentally friendly diesel.
Portable Diesel Generators
Small diesel generators like these are used when portable power is required. Many use them for emergency backup, on job sites or in remote locations. Since diesel is not as flammable as gasoline, they can often be safely stored in a garage or shed. There are two kinds of portable diesel generators, the open or silenced enclosed type. Aurora builds these portable diesel generators to UL and CSA standards making them superior to others.

Many customers tell us that, during a power outage, they do not need to use all their heavy appliances at the same. With a little bit of energy conservation, a 10,000 watt size generator can power anything in their home. Others still need to cook, use the dryer and possibly run the whole home air conditioner at the same time. For these power hungry customers, we have larger 16,000 - 20,000 watt diesel generators. For those who do not even want to get up and turn on the generator, models with built in Automatic Transfer Switches are available.
All our whole home generators are rated for a minimum 10,000 hour service life. For most customers, that is a lifetime. Others who use generators daily as their primary source of power pick the Perkins engines for an even longer service life.

Aurora can build generators to order. Customers can pick from a variety of engine manufactures, fuel tank sizes, generator heads and automatic transfer switches. Our lead time is 30-45 days depending engine availability.
