10,000 Watt Standby Generator
Introducing our 10,000 watt super compact diesel generator. It only makes 64 db of noise and produces virtually no smoke. It is very popular with our customers. The new smaller size has a foot print of less than 2.5 feet x 4.9 feet. In comparison to traditional standby generators, this is the smallest one on the market. For most people portable generators don’t produce enough power. Larger standby generators are often too expensive and more than required. If you can control heavy appliance use during a power failure you will find 10,000 watts is enough for everything else and you don’t need anything more.
The engine consumes less than 0.5 gallons of diesel per hour under full load. It is a clean burning three cylinder diesel engine that has received current year EPA certification. Since it meets new current emission standards it runs cleaner and quieter. The emissions are clear and far better for our environment then older designs.
The engine is based on Isuzu technology and is made by Laidong. The model number is KM385. This is the same engine used in farm tractors and other heavy machinery. It is a slow turning 1800 rpm diesel and water / radiator cooled engine. You can expect a minimum of 10,000 hours life out of it before it requires rebuilding. With proper care you can extend the life indefinitely. Since it uses replaceable cylinder liners, engine overhaul is easier than ever.
Some important features to note about this product is that it comes virtually complete with no need to buy anything more then oil and fuel. It includes a built-in fuel tank, battery (requires filling) and a digital generator controller.
