This generator produces enough power to run anything in your home, just not all at the same time. It can be used non-stop, requires little maintenance and is very fuel efficient. It is the smallest slow turning diesel powered generator available, with all the features you would expect from larger generators. For electric heat and heavy appliances, our larger 13,000 watt generator may be a better choice.

This engine meets U.S. and Canada EPA Tier 4 emission standards. The 403 model is a compact three cylinder 1.1 litre diesel motor that runs at 1800 RPM. Just like all other Caterpillar/Perkins engines, it will run full or part-time for days or weeks at a time, only needing an oil change ever 500 hours of use.
AURORA generators use clean power producing alternators that are safe for use with sensitive electronics. Alternators are brushless and maintenance free.
DynaGen controllers make using your generator easy. Place it to Automatic or manually turn your generator on and off with the push of one button. The display provides easy to read generator instrumentation. An event log keeps track of operation and can be set to alert you when it is time to change the oil.
The DynaGen "tough" series controllers are intended to operate even in harsh conditions, without fail. Simple two wire start makes them compatible with any standard transfer switch or remote starting system.
Generators built on sturdy frames last longer. Our steel structures are powder coated to increase corrosion resistance and use vibration isolators to support the generator. By eliminating vibrations from being transferred to the ground, generators run quieter!
The frame is assembled using all stainless steel fasteners and also supports the battery tray and generator control panel.
Just add fuel - There is a fuel tank built-into the bottom of the generator. You can easily tell how much fuel is in it by looking at the gauge on the tank; however, the generator controller also monitors the fuel level and shows you on display. It can even alert you when it is getting low and needs refilling. The tank is large enough to run the generator for a full day. Larger fuel tanks are also available.
Tamper-proof! - The canopy enclosure is designed to keep the generator secure and help protect it from the weather outside. Since the engine is a slow turning diesel, it's naturally quieter than gas units and even more so with the steel canopy enclosing it. Two big removable panels make accessing the generator inside easy. When not in use, the latches lock to keep it all safe and secure. No tools are needed.
The enclosure is steel and galvanized. It has been powder coated to help protect it from corrosion. Should it ever need to be removed, it's assembled using only stainless steel hardware.
Only stainless steel hardware is used in the assembly of an AURORA Generator.
Custom weather resistant wiring harnesses provide protection from failures and the elements. Using double-crimp terminals and adhesive-lined shrink tube, the potential for loose connections is eliminated. Color-coded wires provide easy identification and diagnostics.
