Installation Notes
 
This tank is sold as a kit with optional accessories.   The installation kit includes a fuel level gauge, emergency vent alarm (whistle), and duplex bushing with slip-through compression fittings for 3/8″ copper tubing for fuel supply and return to your generator.  Also included are barbed hose fittings to connect to your engine’s fuel lines.  You will need 3/8" copper tubing to run from the tank to your generator. 
 
Often, a bulkhead fitting is used so the fuel lines are rigid on the outside but rubber in the engine compartment to deal with vibrations from the engine.  If purchasing a generator from Aurora, ask us to include bulkhead fittings to simplify your fuel connections to the generator.  We can install the fittings on the frame or enclosure for you. 
 
The code requires a tank cover for outdoor tank installation. The optional cover protects the tank top from Mother Nature’s weather elements and harmful ultraviolet rays.
 
A tie-down kit is also available to secure and tighten tanks in low and high-risk areas.
